What books do we accept?

Books must be in new or gently used condition. They must come from a smoke free home to be considered for Buy Back. Books must have been published within the last two years, with the exception of books in the romance genre, which must have been published in the last year. Please keep in mind that even if your book(s) meet all the criteria, we reserve the right to decline to Buy Back books.

When is our Book Buy Back?

We accept books for Book Buy Back during the last week of every month during our normal business hours.

How many books can I bring for Buy Back?

Please limit the number of books you bring for Buy Back to no more than 15 books at a time. Due to Book Buy Back taking place during normal business hours, we are unable to sort through large quantities of books. If books are brought in while we are busy, we may request that you come back in an hour or two so we have a chance to look through your books. Please note that books cannot be left overnight.

What do we give in exchange for books?

For the books we offer to Buy Back, we calculate and offer a cash value. You may take cash in exchange for your books, or you can put that cash value toward any of our in-stock used books.

What if I just want to donate my books?

We are happy to accept book donations, though donated books still need to meet the above criteria. If you wish to donate books, please limit the number of books to a tote bag or two. We do still have to sort through them, which is difficult to do with a large quantity during business hours. We appreciate your understanding!
